Subject: European Tort Law 2007

Dear All

I'm pleased to announced the publication of our latest Tort and Insurance Law Yearbook, European Tort Law 2007.

For those who don't know the format, the yearbook contains summaries of/commentaries on legislative and case-law devolopments and new publications in the year in 27 European jurisdictions, with comparative remarks at the end. The first section of the book contains the Opening Lecture from our 2008 Annual Tort Law Conference (John Bell, "The Development of Tort Law"), then four essays on "prescription" (i.e. limitation of actions) from the Special Topics session of the conference, these by: Reinhard Zimmerman/ Jens Kleinschmidt, Federico Fusco, Bjarte Askeland and Israel Gilead. The yearbook is a co-production of the Institute for European Tort Law and our sibling organisation, the European Centre of Tort and Insurance Law. Further details here.

For those interested, next year's annual conference will be in Vienna from Thursday, April 16 to Saturday, April 18, 2009.

Best wishes
Ken
